Online Safety

Our Digital Citizenship education is designed to help our students to become responsible, literate, safe, ethical and respectful when working online. These themes will be built upon through lessons and activities from Kindergarten to grade 12.

At the beginning of each year, parents and students are asked to sign the Computer Safe & Acceptable Use Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct and Academic Integrity applies to the use of technology whether students are at school or home.

Senior Grades

In the senior grades (9-12), responsible use of content continues to be a theme. Students are also taught about the lasting effects of our digital footprint, as well as how to investigate academic integrity, critically evaluate information and avoid plagiarism.

For more information, see the Government of Canada's Digital Citizenship Guide for Parents.
